Split your Clip
To split a large clip into two smaller clips, drag the clip onto your editing canvas. Then click on the Edit Overlays icon, and select Split. Keep in mind that you'll need to click and drag the playhead to the point at which you'd like to split the video. After clicking Split, you'll be asked to confirm the location of the split via the timecode at which the playhead is currently.
Note: You won't be able to split within 2 seconds of the beginning or end of the clip, and clips must be longer than 4 seconds to be able to be split.
Once the split is done transcoding, it will be placed on your canvas in two connect clips, as seen below:
These two new clips will now also show up in the Media Library in the Media panel sidebar.
Trim your Clip
To trim your clip, find the Trim button in the Edit Overlays screen for the clip you'd like to trim. There you'll be able to adjust the exact length of the new clip, by dragging the start or end of the time slider, or manually entering a specific time. You can do that for each copy of the original clip you pulled onto the canvas. Don't worry if you end up needing to add some of the trimmed video back into the clip; the full uploaded clip footage is saved so that you can re-trim and bring it back into the clip at any time.
